Jessica Ware joined Northern Virginia Family Practice in 2003. She enjoys the diversity of primary care and developing long term relationships with her patients. Since she transitioned her practice into the personalized preventive model she sees the value of having more time with each patient, allowing her to provide the best medical care possible. In this more relaxed environment, she can focus on all aspects of the patient’s health from their physical, social, and emotional well-being, promote overall wellness and encourage patients to be proactive participants in their healthcare. Ms. Ware is passionate about treating each patient as an individual and tailoring their treatment plans. Her special interests include diabetes, thyroid disease, women’s health, adolescent and pediatric medicine.
Jessica grew up in New Fairfield, CT and attended North Carolina State University. She graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at George Washington University in 2001. She is board certified through the NCCPA. In her spare time she enjoys seeing her identical twin sister who is also a physician assistant, volunteering at her children’s school and would love to earn her black belt one day. She lives in Alexandria with her husband and two children.
