Concierge Internal Medicine FAQ
Concierge Medicine, also known as Membership Medicine, is a long-standing form of medical practice where patients pay a monthly or annual membership fee and receive a personalized experience with a dedicated primary care provider. It arguably allows for the highest level of care quality and experience for the patient.
Concierge medicine does not take the place of general health insurance coverage. We participate as in-network health providers for many commercial insurance plans. We are also a Participating Provider for Medicare.
Paying your annual fee allows you to be a member of our practice whether you are sick or well.
Even if you’re hardly ever sick or injured, the concierge model of medicine still offers plenty of benefits. Having round-the-clock access to a dedicated primary care physician means you don’t need to worry in the event your health situation changes. You also benefit from having access to holistic health education resources and guidance that empowers you to maintain your health.
Just like a traditional practice, if you need to see a specialist for any reason, your concierge internal medicine doctor will refer you to one and coordinate with them for treatment.
