Charles Gardner, Jr., MD, FAAFP

Clinical Expertise:

Dr. Gardner previously launched the Family Practice department in Alexandria Hospital. He was department chief for six years, managing the drafting and implementation of bylaws and facilitating hospital accreditation. He also served as president of the Medicine Society of Northern Virginia.

Dr. Gardner is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician who is extremely knowledgeable in all facets of primary care. He and his care team have built lasting relationships with his patients, most of whom have been seeing him for decades.

When I’m Not Working:

Dr. Gardner resides with his wife in Alexandria, VA, where he spends his free time researching genealogy, reading historical fiction, doing yard work, and exercising.
