“From the moment you enter the office, the team is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Jessica Ware, PA spends really quality time with her patients. Has great recommendations for better health. A great listener too. Couldn’t be better.”
Jessica is one of the longest-serving members of the NVFP team…
and her leadership and the quality of patient care she delivers have consistently exceeded her patient’s expectations. Jessica values spending meaningful time with each patient, allowing her to develop long-term relationships and providing the best medical care possible by tailoring treatment plans to address each patient’s individual needs.
With over 20 years of experience in primary care…
Jessica is passionate about caring for patients at all stages of life. From newborn babies to individuals entering their end of life, Jessica finds the connections she makes with patients most rewarding.
She is grateful for the concierge model, which allows her extra time to emphasize the provider-patient relationship. Her style highlights the importance of working as a team with shared decision-making and ensuring her patients’ needs come first.
Clinical Expertise:
Jessica has a special interest in adolescent medicine, women’s health, thyroid disorders and diabetes but when asked if she has a favorite, she likes the variety that primary care offers. She is pleased to announce she is now a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. She wants to help educate and treat her patients as they navigate menopause and other midlife health issues.
Jessica and her twin sister, who is also a PA, grew up in CT. She attended North Carolina State University before attending George Washington University’s PA program.
When I’m Not Working:
When not at NVFP, Jessica is typically found walking her neighborhood with her Australian Cattle Dog, Reese. She loves to travel, hike, and cheer on local sports teams, including the JMU Dukes. She volunteers for Lucky Dog Animal Rescue , helping to find safe homes for animals in need. She lives in Alexandria with her husband and two children.
Educational Background & Training:
-
Bachelor of Science degree in zoology from North Carolina State University

What Patients Have Said About Me
“Everything about this office is wonderful. The staff are gracious and generous with their time and expertise. Several services are available onsite. It’s a welcoming environment. Jessica Ware, PA works with me and my children and provides great care. I could not recommend them more highly.”
“I didn’t think it was possible to feel so comfortable and trusting of a primary care doc until I found this practice. I see Jessica Ware and she is fantastic in every way: she is highly attentive and listening during appointments, always on time, returns call promptly, and is so empathetic and compassionate. Once she called to tell me she was reviewing the notes from my previous appointment and had some follow up questions. I’ve never had a practitioner go back into my chart on their own time and follow up about it. Everyone in the entire office, from Cathy in the lab, to all of the nurses and front desk staff, are helpful, kind, and professional. I can rest easy knowing that my health is in totally capable hands.”
