Jessica Ware, PA-C

With over 20 years of experience in primary care…

Jessica is passionate about caring for patients at all stages of life.  From newborn babies to individuals entering their end of life, Jessica finds the connections she makes with patients most rewarding.

She is grateful for the concierge model, which allows her extra time to emphasize the provider-patient relationship.  Her style highlights the importance of working as a team with shared decision-making and ensuring her patients’ needs come first.

Clinical Expertise:

Jessica has a special interest in adolescent medicine, women’s health, thyroid disorders and diabetes but when asked if she has a favorite, she likes the variety that primary care offers.   She is pleased to announce she is now a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner.  She wants to help educate and treat her patients as they navigate menopause and other midlife health issues.

Jessica and her twin sister, who is also a PA, grew up in CT.  She attended North Carolina State University before attending George Washington University’s PA program.

When I’m Not Working:

When not at NVFP, Jessica is typically found walking her neighborhood with her Australian Cattle Dog, Reese.  She loves to travel, hike, and cheer on local sports teams, including the JMU Dukes.   She volunteers for Lucky Dog Animal Rescue , helping to find safe homes for animals in need.  She lives in Alexandria with her husband and two children.

Educational Background & Training:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in zoology from North Carolina State University

  • Master of Science in Health Sciences from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences
