Our Staff

Medical Assistant

Ana Ramos has been a valued member of our team since joining our practice in 1995.  Ana’s interest in medicine stems back to her childhood when she was inspired by visiting her local hospital in El Salvador where her aunt served as a nurse and seeing the caregivers in action.  After her family moved to the U.S. when she was 17, Ana pursued her dream and became a medical assistant.  Now a parent of three daughters, ranging from eight months to 12 years old, Ana has her future sights set on earning a nursing degree…but as any working parent understands, plans to wait until her children are a bit older! Ana values collaborating with Dr. Gardner and all the providers at Northern Virginia Family Practice, and treasures the long-term relationships she has formed with her patients.
